LAUSD Listings Message Board Posting Policy

Welcome to the Los Angeles Unified School District Listings Bulletin Board. This bulletin board has been established to facilitate the communication of housing opportunities for residents displaced by the Los Angeles Unified School District. Listings which contain discrimination clauses or require a realtor fee are prohibited. The LAUSD is not responsible for any errors or omissions in listings. Moreover, the LAUSD is not making any representations about property owners or management companies. The LAUSD is not responsible for disagreements or misunderstandings that may occur between the landlord and tenant, default by either party, or any other issue. All participants are governed by this Posting Policy and Legal Disclaimer.

In order to maintain a civil online community, we require our users to follow a few basic guidelines:

You agree not to post, send, transmit, upload, or otherwise publish through this Site, any materials that

interfere with anyone else's use of the Site
are abusive, defamatory, illegal, indecent, libelous, obscene, offensive, pornographic, or threatening in any way
encourage anyone to break the law
violate anyone's copyright or other property right
interfere with the privacy of any user
contain a virus or any other harmful component
contain false or misleading statements of fact or descriptions of the origin of the material.

You agree to comply with any additional terms which are referred to on this Site or any subsite within the Site. Our message boards software enables a user to edit and/or delete his or her own post for approximately thirty minutes after it has been submitted to a forum. The LAUSD Facilities Information Services Department regrets that it ordinarily cannot honor requests to remove posts after such time.

Message board participants are directed to contact admin@laschools.org for the removal or editing of listings that are incorrect or no longer available. Messages that are posted in the wrong category or that are older than 30 days will be deleted. Deleted postings that are still current may be resubmitted.

While we do not and cannot review every message posted in the message boards and are not responsible for the content of these messages, we reserve the right to delete, move, or edit messages that we deem abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. We reserve the right to remove the posting privileges of users who violate these standards of forum behavior at any time.
